ORIX New Zealand is proud to support our partner Hato Hone St John; a charitable organisation providing emergency ambulance services and community health and youth leadership programmes across New Zealand with our Match Me Community Support Programme.
The ORIX NZ Match Me Community Support programme is an optional scheme that will allow ORIX NZ customers to support Hato Hone St John for as little as $1 per month. Simply add an amount of your choosing to any lease contract, and we will include it in your monthly lease rate.
100% of your contribution will be donated directly to Hato Hone St John to help them to continue their amazing work across New Zealand and better yet - ORIX NZ will match each donation (up to a limit of $10,000 per annum).
As the health sector’s emergency services arm, Hato Hone St John ambulances serve 90% of New Zealanders – covering 97% of the country. Their staff and volunteers care for people every day, stepping forward when help is needed to improve health outcomes and build resilience.
Last year they answered 645,570 emergency calls and treated, or transported, 498,605 people in need. They also work on a variety of initiatives that tackle the underlying issues affecting the general wellbeing of New Zealanders and create stronger communities through connection.
These trusted, and innovative, healthcare services include teaching lifesaving first aid, event medical services, and their medical alarm service – which allows elderly and vulnerable people to live independent lives with peace of mind.
